TED Talks on Purpose
This is definitely not the only material on the Net about this Great Big Purpose Thing. There are many other websites, blogs and
newsfeeds on this exact same subject. In fact, that was one of my primary worries when I started this up – am I
really contributing anything? What if I’m just saying what everyone else is saying?
The way I see it though, is that it can’t hurt to have more information. If none of the content here resonates with you,
at least I’ll point you to finding some which might. I’m not going to repeat anything that I’ve read elsewhere, as you
can simply go there to read it (also, it would be plagiarism)
So where else can you go? I’m just going to give some suggestions here.
First off, TED talks! For those of you who don’t know, TED talks are an excellent resource on many many subjects, from
psychology to agriculture and everything in between. If you don’t want to listen to the whole talk, many of them come with transcripts, some in different languages.
Here are some I’ve found that I find to be extremely relevant to finding your purpose :

I have found them to be very inspiring myself, even though I don’t 100% agree with all the content in all the talks…but
that’s pretty normal. At the very least they will give you something to talk about at parties.
This may sound obvious, but Google and Wikipedia can be very helpful. Yes, I know it sounds kind of “duh” to say that, but
many times I have found myself searching for stuff that I thought I “sorted out” before. Google and Wikipedia both update regularly,
so even if you think you know something, try searching for it anyway. It might open up some new avenues for you, you never know.
